Toddler Program (18 Months–3 Years)

The toddler years are filled with exciting firsts as children begin to explore the world with growing curiosity and independence. At Montessori Family School, our Toddler Program provides a prepared environment where children feel safe and encouraged to discover what they are capable of.

Through thoughtfully prepared Montessori activities, toddlers develop language, coordination, concentration and early problem-solving skills while learning practical life tasks such as caring for themselves, helping others and taking pride in their accomplishments. Every experience is designed to support each child’s natural development at a pace that is just right for them.

Our caring teachers gently guide children as they build confidence, learn to communicate their needs and develop meaningful relationships with their classmates. Daily routines encourage independence, patience, kindness and respect, helping toddlers gain a sense of security while fostering a love of learning. Music, movement, outdoor exploration and hands-on discovery are woven throughout each day, creating a balanced environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.

By the time children are ready to transition into our preschool program, they have developed a strong foundation of confidence, independence and curiosity. More importantly, they have set the foundation for learning in a place where they are encouraged in their exploration. At Montessori Family School, we believe these earliest years set the stage for a lifetime of confidence, compassion and discovery.
