Preschool (3–4 Years)
The preschool years are filled with wonder, curiosity, and incredible growth. At Montessori Family School, our 3–4-year-old program is designed to nurture each child’s natural desire to explore while providing a safe, appropriate environment where they feel confident to try new things.
Through hands-on Montessori materials and meaningful experiences, children build early literacy and math skills, strengthen language development, develop fine and gross motor coordination and gain practical life skills that encourage independence and self-confidence. The environment is thoughtfully planned to inspire a love of learning while honoring each child’s unique pace and interests.
Just as importantly, these years are a time for building friendships, learning empathy and becoming part of a caring classroom community. Children learn to work independently, collaborate with classmates, solve problems respectfully and care for both their environment and one another. Our teachers guide and encourage each child, celebrating milestones while fostering confidence, kindness and resilience in a supportive atmosphere.
By the end of the preschool years, children are not only well prepared academically for kindergarten but have also developed the independence, curiosity and confidence that will serve them throughout their lives. At Montessori Family School, we believe these early years should be engaging and filled with opportunities for children to discover just how capable they truly are.
